Lions and Tigers and...BABIES Oh My!

2011 is definitely the year for babies. I know of seven women who have given birth (or will) within the month of March (must have had something in the water last June), two in April, One in May, One in June, One in July, and two in September. Sheesh! Congratulations to all the mommies and daddies!

Some of the babies born this month were...

Boys:
Grayson
Severyn
Oliver
Miles (my new nephew) :)

Girls:
Arija

My co-worker Kristi is due this week. I'm guessing I'll be adding another name to the boy list.

Of those born this month, I'm proud to introduce to you my new nephew Miles Jay Nessler.

Congratulations Jay, Angie, and Kate!

As most of you know, our house was built in the 1930's. It has a cool archway going from the dining room to the living room and we just love all the character our house has. The only problem is we had to redo every room in our house (tear down wall paper, paint, rip up carpet, etc. ). Well... we've been working on our house for the past 2 1/2 years and had made all the improvements we wanted to make to the house except for the kitchen counters, backsplash, and sink. We had already replaced the carpet (yes, carpet in the kitchen), painted the cupboards, new appliances, and painted the walls). So a couple weekends ago my dad, his wife Anita, and Chris and I took on the project. The project took us from 8:00 am on Saturday until 5:00 pm on Sunday. Chris and I love the results and are fortunate enough to have wonderful family who love to help us with our house. (I'll post more before and after pictures of our house later) :)
